Angel Class of 2024

 

 Today, we learned about 3 rhetorical appeals(logos, pathos, and ethos). Mr. Rease proposed to have Friday of having a Free day on Friday.  We are really good listeners, and we do our work. But deep down, we are exhausted and sometimes it’s best to just have a free day at least once this semester to let it all out. Maybe we won’t be sleeping in class or steadily going on our phone. Studies show that “teens find it difficult to learn and concentrate especially at the end of the day”. Maybe a free day will help us play catch with our stamina and tiredness.

 Today I was watching a film called Social Life. It just proves to me that social media isn’t all what it seems. Behind the scenes, they are probably going through it. I also learned about Origin Myth, and how to tell the difference from it being a legend. Also, I am happy today and blessed that God woke me up this very day.

 Today I watched a film called the last 3 minutes. A man had his life flashed before his eyes. It made me realize that we need to life out our lives and make the most of it because life is short. His whole life of maybe about 60 years was shorten in 3 minutes. I also took notes on what my purpose in life is, and learned how to rob a house just by reading a story.

 I learned that we need to stand up for ourselves. A little Boy got shot for standing up for himself on the video. The gun wasn’t real, however it spread a message. I also took notes on elements of writing.

 I have multiple purposes in life. One of my purposes is to spread the word of God. One is to become a esthetician. One is to also take care of my family and anyone who just need help in general. My purpose is to help people dealing with skincare wise and maybe get my own business. I always wanted to be a entrepreneur as well since forever.

 I learned that you don’t have to be smart or even have talent to be successful. It is all about putting in work, and not giving up. It’s also about going to your extent with everything you do in life. I also learned the difference between formal and informal language. I know how to use it when talking and which one to switch to.

My name is Angel Watson. I am 16 years old. I go to Cedar Grove High School. Three things I wanna accomplish this school year is coming to school. My last couple of years, I used to miss school days so much. At a certain point it messed up my grade. I also want to get all A’s. I also want to save up a lot of money, so I can get my car by 12th grade.
